I.Introduction
ConnectFourisaboardgamethatisplayedbyexactlytwoplayers,players
initareassignedtodifferentcolorsandthentaketurnsdroppingcoloreddiscs
intothesuspendedgrid.Thegame’sgridhassevencolumnsandsixrows.The
piecesfallstraightdown,occupyingthelowestavailablespace.Figure1

Themaingoalofthegameistobethefirstplayertohaveeitherhorizontal,
