speakerswhoaretoblame.Ironically，theyareworseatdeliveringtheirmessagethanpeoplewhospeakEnglishasasecondorthirdlanguage.
AlotofnativespeakersarehappythatEnglishhasbecometheworldsgloballanguage.Theydontfeeltheneedtoaccommodateoradapttoothers.Theyoftentalktoofastforotherstofollow，andusejokes，slang，short forms and references specific to their ownculture. “The first time I worked in an international
institution，somebodysaid‘ETA16：53’andIthought‘WhatonearthisETA？’”saysMichaelBlattrer，anexecutiveinaninternationalcompany.

proposalbysaying“Thatsinteresting”，afellowBritishmightrecognizethisas“Thatsrubbish.”Butothernationalitieswouldtaketheword“interesting”onfacevalue.
Also，lotsoftheinformationisnotfullyunderstoodbecauseofthe complex language native speakers use.Toomany non－native
speakers，especiallytheAsiansandtheFrench，aretooconcernedaboutnot“losingface”andnodapprovinglywhilenotgettingthemessageatall，becauseofwhich，thenativespeakerscontinuedeliveringinformationthatmakeslittlesensetothem.Theinformationgapisunnoticedandkeepswidening.
