DESCRIPTIONANDOPERATION

Thisisadirectactingovercentervalve,whichisapilotassistedreliefwithafreeﬂowcheck.Withthereliefvalvesetatapproximately1.3timesthe

maximumloadinducedpressure,thevalvewillpreventﬂowfromport1to2.Whenpilotpressureisappliedtoport3,thevalvewillmetertheﬂow

fromport1to2,compensatingforanychangeinpilotpressureduetoover-runningorunstableloads.Freeﬂowtakesplacefromport2toport1

throughthecheckportionofthevalve.Thesevalvesareidealinmostapplicationsbringingstability,loadholding,andhosefailureprotectionwhen

thevalveismountedontoorintotheactuator.Thespringchamberisconnectedtothevalveport2,soanybackpressurewillincreasethepilot

pressurerequiredtokeepthevalveopenandthepressureatwhichthevalvewillopenasareliefvalve.Thisisalsoavailableinadualhousingfor

bi-directionalcontrol.
