Abstract Engineering data management is the core activity necessary to ensure the successful completion of engineering 

projects,anditincludesresourceprocurement,materialhandling,datarecordingandinformationtransfer.Thispaper

investigates how sustainability principles affect engineering data management in detail, including resource management, 

energy conservation and carbon footprint reduction, as well as social responsibility, and also explores the environmental 

impact, including how regulatory compliance, ecosystem preservation, and sustainable architectural design play a role in 

engineering data management. This study aims to provide the engineering field with a deeper understanding to better address 

these new challenges and achieve the goals of sustainability and environmental protection.
