andmanagerepositoriesforPowerEdgedevicesthataremanagedinOpenManageEnterprisewhichruniDRACoraWindows
operatingsystem.
ArepositoryconsistsofsystembundlesandtheirassociatedDellUpdatePackages(DUP).Asystembundleisasoftware
collectionthatcanbegroupedtoarrangetherelatedupdatesthatareapplicabletosametargetplatformandhavingthesame
format.ADUPisaself-containedexecutablefileinastandardpackageformatthatupdatesaspecificsoftwareelementon
DellserverorstoragesuchastheBIOS,adevicedriver,firmware,andothersimilarsoftwareupdates.Thesebundlesand
repositoriesallowthedeploymentofmultiplefirmwareupdatessimultaneously.TheUpdateManagerplug-in(UMP)supports
DUPsin.exeformat.
