About35millionyearsago,Eucalyptusbegantoreplacedenseforests.Now,thenumberofEucalyptusinAustraliaaccountsformorethanhalfofallMyrtletreesintheworld.BlueMountain,afamousNationalPark110kmawayfromthecenterofSydney,iscoveredbyalargenumberofEucalyptus.

ThewaterofEucalyptusleavesisashighas50%.Ithasalsobecomethemainfoodsourceforanimalssuchaskoalabears.

Foralongtime,Australianimmigrantpioneershavelearnedtouseeucalyptusleavestotreatcolds,fever,snakebites,musclesorenessandsoon.Sprayagentsusedtotreatcoldoftenaddessentialoils.Oncetheyarelightlysprayed,nasalcongestionanddizzinessvanish.Inaddition,theessentialoilontheskin,canpromotethebloodflowhere,produceawarmfeeling.

Eucalyptusisanevergreentreeorshrubwithalternateleavesandfewoppositeleaves.Flowerswhite,yelloworred,umbelliform.Eucalyptusgrowsveryfastandisthemaineconomictrees.

ThewrongwayofplantingEucalyptuswilldoharmtothenaturalenvironment.

First,eucalyptusisawaterpump.Second,eucalyptusisafertilizerextractor.Third,eucalyptusisoverlordtree,eucalyptushasagreatinhibitiononlocalandnativespecies;Fourth,thechemicalproductsusedbyEucalyptushavestrongtoxicityandlongtoxiceffect,andEucalyptusgashasstimulatingandtoxiceffects.

AsfarasAustraliaisconcerned,thedensityofsingletreespeciesinitsnativeeucalyptusforestisfarlessthanthatofartificialforestwiththemainpurposeofpursuingeconomicbenefits,andthetreespeciesintheforestarealsoverydiverse.Inaddition,theeucalyptusforestinAustraliaismainlydistributedinthesoutheastcoastofthecountrywiththemostabundantrainfall,soitswaterconsumptionisnottooobvious.Third,thenativeEucalyptusForestinAustraliaisnotasinglespecies.

However,inthepastEucalyptusplantinginChina
