About1,200yearsago,theChinesewerethefirsttoprintmoney,butitwasntpapermoney.Theyusedleather(皮革)whichwasmadefromthehidesofanimals.Itwasntuntiltheseventhcenturythattheydecidedtousepaper.Atlast,theworldhaditsfirstpapermoney.Paperislighterthanthecoinsandtheycanbecarriedmoreeasily,sopeoplelikeitverymuch.Ifyouhadpapermoney,youwouldntneedsomanycoins.Strangely,ittookmuchmorecenturiesforothercountriesaroundtheworldtostartusingsuchmoney.
