ThismanualintroducestheGW-7553sbasicsettingandoperatingquickly,theuser

canrefertotheusermanualintheICPDAScompanionCD-ROM(Path:

“CD:\profibus\gateway\gw-7553\manual\gw-7553usermanual.pdf”).

ThismanualhelpsuserstounderstandabouttheGW-7553moduleandapplication.

InthefollowingexamplestheCIF50-PBPROFIBUSMastercardfromHilscheris

used.Theconfigurationandcommunicationisdonebytheprogram“SyCon”

providedbyHilscher.

ApplicationexampleofPROFIBUStoModbusTCP

InthisexampletheGW-7553actsasaModbusTCPSlavedevice.WhentheGW-

7553modulereceivesawriteDOModbuscommandfromPC’sEthernetPort,the

GW-7553modulecansendthemessagetotheinputdataareaofPROFIBUSMaster

station.WhentheGW-7553modulereceivesareadDIModbuscommandfrom

PC’sEthernetPort,GW-7553modulecanrefertotheoutputdataareaof

PROFIBUSMasterstationtoproduceresponsemessageandsendittoPC’s

EthernetPort.
