Catiasayssheneverturnsawayabird．Shecaresforthebirdsfrom5amintothenight．MostofthehummingbirdsstayinCatiasbedroomuntiltheyarestrongenoughtoflyandfeedthemselvesbeforetheyarefinallyfreed．
