InthemeetingheldonApril23,2010,theFirstCommitteeonNewDrugsconcludedthatthe

productmaybeapprovedandthatthisresultshouldbepresentedtothePharmaceuticalAffairs

DepartmentofthePharmaceuticalAffairsandFoodSanitationCouncil.

Theproductisclassifiedasabiologicalproduct,there-examinationperiodis8years,andthe

drugsubstanceandthedrugproductarebothclassifiedaspowerfuldrugs.

[Conditionsforapproval]

Theapplicantisrequiredto:

1.Conductadruguse-resultssurveyinalltreatedpatientsuntildataonacertainnumberof

patientshavebeenaccumulatedinordertocollectdataonthesafetyandefficacyofthe

productintheearlypost-marketingperiod,therebytakingnecessarymeasurestoensure

properuseoftheproduct.

2.Conductalarge-scalepost-marketingsurveillancetothoroughlyevaluatethesafetyofthe

productandtoinvestigatethesafetyoflong-termtreatmentwiththeproductandthe

occurrencesofinfection,etc.

3.Inordertoconfirmtheefficacy(includingthepreventiveeffectontheprogressionof

jointdestruction)andsafetyoftheproduct,conductadouble-blindco
