    Inrecentyears,industrialtoolmanufacturershavestarted

    toincorporatewirelessconnectivityintotheirproducts

    toenableawidearrayoffeaturesincludingpowertool

    tracking,configurationupdatesfromasmartphoneapp,

    geofencingfortheftprevention,real-timeperformance

    monitoring,andover-the-air(OTA)updates.Lossprevention

    inparticularisanimportantconcernformanycustomers

    becauseitnotonlyrequiresthereplacementofatool,but

    alsoreducesproductivityduetounplanneddowntime.
