一、事物数量的比较

两者的数量进行比较，用比较级，如：

more…than（用于可数名词或不可数名词的比较）

fewer…than（用于可数名词的比较）

less…than（用于不可数名词的比较）

e.g.HehasmorebreadthanI.他比我有更多的面包。

TompickedmoreapplesthanMary.汤姆摘的苹果比玛丽多。

SandydidlesshomeworkthanSimon.桑迪做的作业比西蒙少。

IhavefewerballoonsthanTom.我拥有的气球比汤姆少。

三者或以上的数量进行比较，用最高级，如：

themost+可数名词复数/不可数名词

thefewest+可数名词的复数

theleast+不可数名词

e.g.Danielstudiesthemostsubjectsofallthestudents.所有这些学生中丹尼尔学的科目最多。

Maryjoinsthefewestclubsamongthethreeofus.我们三个人中玛丽加入的俱乐部最少。

Myfatherhastheleastfreetimeinmyfamily.我们家中父亲的业余时间最少。

二、同级比较

肯定形式：as...as...和...一样...（两个as之间用形容词或副词的原级）

否定形式：as/so...as...as/so...as...不如...一样...

e.g.Mary’shairisaslongasSandy’s.玛丽的头发和桑迪的一样长。

Mary’shairisnotas/solongasSandy’s.玛丽的头发不如桑迪的那么长。

常见结构：主语+系动词+as+形容词原级+as+比较对象

主语+实义动词+as+副词原级+as+比较对象

e.g.Thismagazineisaswonderfulasthatone.这本杂志和那本一样精彩。

HedoeshishomeworkascarefullyasI(do).他做作业和我一样仔细。

as…assb.can=as…aspossible尽可能

e.g.Asastudent,youshouldbeashardworkingasyoucan/possible.

=Asastudent,youshouldworkashardasyoucan/possible.
