WhatAreState-DirectedPayments?

▪State-directedpayments(SDPs)arepaymentsthatstatesdirecttospecificprovidersthrough

Medicaidmanagedcareorganizations.

–SDPsaresimilartofee-for-servicesupplementalpayments(forexample,disproportionate

shareorupperpaymentlimitpayments).
