(I)BackgroundoftheProblem

Airspeed,thevelocityofanaircraftrelativetotheair,isacriticalparameterthat

needstobemonitoredduringflight.Airspeediscloselylinkedtoflightstatessuchas

angleofattackandsideslipangle.Ifairspeeddataisabnormal,itcaneasilyleadto

accidentslikestalling.Therefore,accuratemeasurementofairspeedisofgreat

significance.

Laservelocimetryisafeasiblemethodformeasuringairspeed.Theprinciple,as

showninFigure1,involvesemittingalaseratafixedfrequency,thenobtainingthe

signallightwithDopplerfrequencyshiftthroughtheMiescatteringeffectonaerosol

particlesintheair.Usingtheprincipleofcoherentinterference,asignalcontaining

Dopplershiftinformationisobtained,andthefrequencyofthissignalisestimated.

ByusingtheestimatedDopplershiftinformation,airspeedcanbecalculated.A

criticalstepinairspeedmeasurementisestimatingthefrequencyinformationofthe

timeseriessignal,wherethesignalsatisfiesthefollowingexpression:
