TheLouvreistheworld’slargestandmostpopularmuseum.ThemuseumislocatedinahugepalaceinParisthatwasoncehometothekingsofFrance.Today,itholdsover33,000piecesofart,includingthefamousMonaLisa.Inthesummer,themuseumcanhavemorethan30,000visitorsaday.

ButonSunday,themuseumhadthewrongkindofvisitors.Around9:30inthemorning,soonafterthemuseumopened,thievesdroveuptothebuildinginatruckwithaladderonit.Twoofthethievesusedtheladdertoclimbtoasecond-floorbalcony.There,theyusedanelectrictooltobreakawindow,andclimbedintothemuseum.
