【Abstract】ThecharacteristicsofcollapsibleloessandtheworkingmechanismofCFGpilesareintroduced.Takingahigh-rise

residentialareaprojectinLanzhouNewAreaasanexample,thefoundationtreatmentdesignschemefortreatingcollapsibleloess

foundationwithCFGpilesisanalyzedindetail.On-sitestaticloadtestsofsinglepilesandbearingcapacitytestsofcompositefoundation

arecarriedout.ItisshownthatthebearingcapacityandfoundationdeformationofCFGpilecompositefoundationbothmeetthedesign

requirementsofhigh-riseresidentialprojects.Bothitsconstructionperiodandprojectcosthaveadvantages.
