国际著名物理学家、诺贝尔物理学奖获得者、中国科学院院士、清华大学教授、清华大学高等研究院名誉院长杨振宁先生，因病于2023年10月18日在北京逝世，享年103岁。

于杨振宁而言，清华是童年的乐园。1929年，因父亲杨武之受聘清华大学数学系教授，他随父母迁居清华园。

年幼的杨振宁对万物充满热忱。尽管当时国内外时局动荡，但在清华园内，他过着宁静充实的日子：与父母在礼堂观影，与伙伴在体育馆组成啦啦队为清华选手助威，寒冬在结冰的荷花池溜冰……杨振宁后来笑言自己儿时并非乖孩子，爬遍清华每棵树，而父亲对他这些调皮行为从不苛责。
