today.1Artificialintelligenceisatechnologicalphenomenonthatistakingtheworldby

storm.Wereadaboutiteverydayandmanyofushaveuseditinsomewayoranother.

Inmylifetime,Ihaveneverseenatechnologicalrevolutionlikethis—andIhaveseenthe

birthofspaceexploration,theriseofthepersonalcomputer,theexplosionoftheinternet

andthensmartphones.Whilealltransformative,nonematchthepotentialthatAIhasin

changingourlivesanddoingsoatbreathtakingspeed.Firms,households,andevery

governmentarealltryingtoincorporateitintothewaytheyfunctionandoperate.AndI

amheretotellyouthattheFederalReserveisnodifferent.

So,giventhethemeofthisconferenceandtheaudiencemakeup,Ifeltthiswasa
