DeviationsfromthisdocumentrequirepriorwrittenapprovaloftheresponsibleSGMCCRWEngineer.Deviationsmadewithoutapprovalaresubjecttoreworkattheexpenseofthesupplier.Approveddeviationsapplytothespecificinstanceonlyandshallnotbeconsideredachangetothespecification.

ControlNetworkArchitecture

Allen-BradleyPLCshallbegenerallyusedunlessotherwisespecifiedbyprojectteam.DeviceNetshallbeusedforI/OcommunicationsandEthernet/IPshallbeusedforexchangeofrealtimecontrolsignalsamongPLC,HMI,robotsandweldingcontrollerswithinacell.One(ormore)cellswitchshallbeprovidedfortheinternalEthernet/IPcommunicationsinthecell,thequantityofswitchisdependingonthenumberofnodesinthecell.Redundant(double)uplinkconnections(RJ45connection)fromcellswitchtoplantlevel(CISCOswitch)willbeprovidedbySGMISdepartment.Ifmorethanoneswitchesareusedinacell,theyshallbecascadedlinked,butnotmorethan4.Thefirstandlastcellswitchofthischainareuplin
