FollowingtheendorsementoftheASEANPlanofActionforEnergyCooperation(APAEC)2026–2030duringthe43rdASEAN

MinistersonEnergyMeeting(AMEM)underMalaysia’sChairship2025,the5thAICEEfindingscouldserveasreferencesto

provideinputsandrecommendationstoregionalenergypolicymakersinsupportingamoreinclusive,adaptive,and

evidence-basedimplementationofAPAEC.

Recommendationsfromthebriefinclude:(1)Strengtheningenergypolicyplanningthroughdata-drivenmodelling;(2)

Advancinglow-carbontechnologiesthroughdigitalisationanditsefficiencyandenvironmentalconsiderations;(3)

HarmonisingtechnicalstandardsacrossASEANandregulatoryframeworks;(4)Embeddingsocialandenvironmental
