其中yes,no,sure,certainly,sorry等是表明说话人态度与反应的语气性意流指示词。根据此类词，我们可以了解说话人的基本态度。一般说来，如果在句子开头听到yes,sure,certainly,ofcourse，表明说话人对某事肯定或赞许；如果是no,notreally,sorry,Iamafraid，则表明说话人对某事反对或不同意。
