一．2010年考研英语大纲分析 今年，国家教育部考试中心首次按照硕士研究生教育培养目标的不同，将研究生教育分为学术型研究生和专业学位研究生。而依据专业学位研究生选拨特点和培养要求，初试外国语设置“英语（二）”19个专业学位类别中的部分专业类别使用。 为了帮助广大考生英语（二）的考试形式和考试要求，对考纲的题型及测试点进行分析。 　　和英语（一）相比，英语（二）中的翻译考题形式有所不同，大纲要求考生阅读、理解长度为150词左右的一个或几个英语段落，并将其全部译成汉语。给出段落的翻译必然不会像是英语（一）中侧重考查对长度句式、特殊复杂句式的理解翻译，这更侧重对整个段落篇章的整体理解，总体来看，英语（二）的翻译难度还是低于英语（一），考生在平时的复习中可挑出一些阅读理解的段落进行整段翻译练习。侧重训练自己准确、完整理解译文并通顺表达译文的能力。Section II Part C Directions: Read the following text carefully and then translate the underlines segments into Chinese.
