Compared with normal temperature, plant height, peduncle length, spike length, spikenumber per plant, grain num ber per plant, grain weight per plant, 1000grain weight per plant and seed setting percentage were in vestigated at barley full mature stage and the results showed that the influences of high temperature stress on three agronomic characters of plant height, peduncle length and spike length were varied to different varieties. Seed weight per plant and thousand seed weight of four barley varieties were sig nificantly decreased after heat stress.
