To study the diagnostic value of procalcitonin (PCT) and common inflammatory markers in patients with severe sepsis. Methods Patients were observed continuously in a perspective study with diagnostic tests. According to the definition of ACCP/SCCM Consensus Conference, patients were classified into 2 groups, including sepsis group and severe sepsis group. Indexes of inflammation and concentration of PCT，C reactive protein(CRP) and white blood c
