ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Frankly speaking, it is rather hard for me to finish this thesis. The pressure of looking for work keeps me tiring and several times I intend to give up. However, several times I persuade myself to pick it up. When I finish typing the last word, I realize how wisely I am to endure all these hardship and pain and finally complete it because I do enjoy the process of writing this thesis and I also gain a lot from my hard work.
My special thanks go to my supervisor. Without her kindness, tolerance, patience and valuable advice, I would not have the courage to finish writing this thesis and this thesis would not be what it is.
Secondly, 1 would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to several teachers in the school of Foreign languages who have instructed and helped me a lot.
At last my thanks would go to my beloved family for their loving considerations and great confidence in me all through these months. 1 also owe my sincere gratitude to my friends and my fellow classmates who gave me their help and time in listening to me and helping me work out my problems during the difficult course of the thesis.
