He is also considered as a spokesman of Lost Generation. His life was full of adventures and legends. He took part in World War I and World War II. The two wars left him serious wound not only in his body but also in his mind. He felt disappointed at the world, the fate of human beings and the development of society. Then, He began writing something which was about his own experiences and feelings of the world. Among all of his books, The Old Man and the Sea (1952) is the most famous one.
