After the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control came into force, too many laws and regulations were built up. It became urgent to decrease the release amount of the harmful components in smoke, and reduce the harm of smoking. The activated carbon used in cigarette has gotten more and more attention because of its considerable high specific surface area, large volume of pores structure, chemical stability, high efficiency to decrease the toxicants in smoke and low production cost.
