Ac cord ing to t e state standard of ocean sedmi ent quality ( first level), t res old effective level and state standard of soil quality ( first level), t e combined pollutions of eavy metal element from t e bedmud of t eWuliangsu lake are relatively serious, and t e main pollutant elements are Cu, Cd, N i and Zn. T ere are a remarkable correlation betw een t e total contents of Pb, Cd, As, Cu, Cr, Hg and Zn, w ic suggests a same origin of pol lutants. Evaluation results of ecological risk index met od s ow t at t e most parts of t e lake belong to am ild pollution risk; t ree entrances of drainage irrigation c annels belong to extreme sever pollutions risk; and ot er areas belong to severe pollution.
