It is a kind of visual digital map as the background, with text, pictures, icons, audio, animation, video and other multimedia tools for the performance, displaying the city, businesses, tourist attractions such as the face of modern regional integrated information products, digital technology combined with traditional cartography generated a new map of varieties. The rich and varied information provide accurate and timely information modify, retrieve, transmit information quickly and easily, and the data of the system could be helpful for further analysis operation, and for the final output of thematic information which focused by the users. This design is the design of electronic map platform multimedia guide system of Nantong University, to study the electronic map in the context of new technologies, structural changes in the composition and function.
