Without ideal, there is no secure direction; without direction, there is no life.” To lead a more meaningful life, everyone ought to set up his own ideal as well as realize it with great effort. Owning an ideal that all people won’ t suffer starving any longer, Dr. Yuan Longping invented the world-shaking super hybrid rice. Besides, studying for a prosperous and rising China was the ideal of Premier Zhou, who eventually made a significant contribution to the founding of New China. Having taken teaching as a career, I’ve made up my mind to make all my students enjoy English study. Driven by this ideal, I always make attempts to adjust my class to the students’ tastes with the latest teaching methods and materials instead of being content with the old ones.
