Abstract: The total capacity of the Wuchan gSouthern Sludge Treatment Plant is 400 ton wet
sludge/ d(moisture content of sludge is 80%). Firstly, accordin gto the surroundin gcondition of
this project, this paper determined the main disposal ways for the treated sludge; then in the light
of the demands of the disposal ways, this paper selected the thermal dewaterin gprocess for this
plant and choose the belt dewaterin gsystem by comparin gdifferent plans; finally, this paper
introduced the main equipments and their design parameters.
