In the new a lgorit hm, considering characterist ics that ba seline and relation of two came ras is fi ed in digital closerange photogra mmetry system, digita l paralla model of stereo image is const ructed firstly, and computa tion para meters for confirming conjugate epipola r line a re work out wit h known calibra tion data. Then sea rching scope of conjugate points on the right ima ge is confirmed under const raints of DPMand epipo lar line to improve matching speed and accura cy. Secondly, to increase matching robustness, t he computa tion model of matching simila rity measure combined with loca l structure informat ion and global grayvalue informa tion is designed by SIFT fea ture a nd grayvalue feature. The new algorithm is a pplied to a ctual stereo ima ges ta ken by digital closera nge photogrammetric system. E perimental results show that t he proposed algorithm can decrease ma tching error greatly, and enha nce the relia bility and precision of stereo image matching.
