摘 要 “翻译目的论”是德国功能派翻译学家 Katharina Reiss、Hans Vermeer 和 Christiane Nord 等从翻译行为的目的性出发提出的一种翻译理论。根据该理论， 翻译应遵循“目的准则”和“连贯准则”，而连贯包括语内的连贯和语际的连贯， 前者指构成语篇的句子之间的深层语义关系，后者指译文和原文在某种程度上的联 系。实现译文的连贯，就要实现语内和语际的连贯。某种程度上，翻译的过程是识 别连贯并重构连贯的过程。 《美食，祈祷，恋爱》是一部带有游记性质的小说，本项目报告将以对其的翻 译为例，从词、句子、段落层面探索类似文本的翻译，针对为实现语内和语际的连 贯需要采取什么样的翻译策略进行案例分析。在翻译过程中，采取各种灵活的方法 提高译文的连贯性，如增译、直译等，很好地将连贯原则应用于文本的翻译。希望 能够通过这样的方式探索影响译文连贯的因素,并在此基础上总结翻译策略。 关键词：语内连贯，语际连贯，翻译策略 ii ABSTRACT “Skopos theory is an approach of translation which is put forward by Katharina Reiss, Hans Vermeer and Christiane Nord. According to Skopos theory, translation should follow “skopos rule” and “coherence rule”. Textual coherence refers to intra-textual coherence and inter-textual coherence. The former is the deep semantic relation existing in sentences, and the latter is the fidelity to the original. For the sake of reproducing the original’s coherence, translators should consider these two aspects which may exert influence on translation. To some extent, translation is a process of recognizing and reconstructing textual coherence. Eat, Pray, Love is a novel with characteristics of travels. This report takes the translation of it as an example to analyze translation strategies responsive to each aspect from word, sentence and paragraph levels, so that coherence can be achieved in the translation. During the translation process, the author explores different kinds of translation approaches, such as addition, literal translation, to improve the coherence of translated text. On the basis of the analysis, the author summarizes the ways to reproduce the original’s coherence. Key words: intra-textual
