I II 摘 要 刘师培在《搜集文章志材料的方法》中提出，编写文学史，可仿照西晋挚虞： “虞之所作，一曰文章志，一曰文章流别。志者，以人为纲也；流别者，以文体 为纲者也。”所以，《中国中古文学史》一书就是将“志”与“流别”相结合，通 过将对作家作品和文体变迁的史料解析串联而成的。为了向国学大师刘师培致 敬，也为了能够从多个角度寻找到真理，本论文也采取类似的形式，以人为纲、 以文体为纲，并增加以时代为纲。因此，本文主要分为三个部分：第一章以人为 纲，主要是介绍刘师培的生平事迹、成长经历以及研究现状，刘师培是晚清社会 非常典型的一个人物，对他个人的研究，为研究文学史奠定基础；第二章以分析 《中国中古文学史》一书，这本书虽然只有五万字，但是它包含的文学观点以及 这部文学史写作方法非常值得研究，这一部分是本论文的主体部分；第三章把人 和书都放回到时代的长河中，将思想剧变的刘师培和精深博雅的《中古文学史》 放到那个特殊的时代中去，放到一对对关系中去，了解刘师培思想剧变的原因以 及《中国中古文学史》的时代意义。本论文志在探索刘师培思想转变的社会原因 和个人原因，并且对转型期的文学史写作有过一些思考和研究，希望在这篇论文 中能够有所梳理和明晰，有些问题的思考尚不成熟，希望得到师长们的指正和建 议。 关键词：刘师培 中古 文学史 转型期 I Abstract Liu Shipei proposed that the compilation of literary history can be modeled on Zhi Yu who lived in Xin Jin dynasty. Therefore, the compliers should consider writers and style of articles as the clue. Liu Shipei’s book “Medieval Literary History of China ” accorded with this mode. He introduced the writers by cite their own works, their biographies, their friends articles or some other history books. And he described the evolvement of the style of articles in detail. All the work he did just because he tried to restore everything about medieval literature originally. In this dissertation, I have to show my respects to this master of Guoxue. I organized my dissertation by three parts, which used writers, style of articles and the transitional period as the clue. For such a arrangement, the first chapter is about people. There is a comprehensive presentation of Liu Shipei which regarding his growth stories, life experiences and the research status. This part is important since Liu is representative in that society, it is helpful for the study on his book. The second chapter is about the book.
