It is the key link to standardize the construction market order, improve investment benefit and gradually with international practice. With Chinas economy transition from planned to marked, mandatory engineering quota is long serviced in the period of planned economy. In market economy today, it already can not adapt to the building of the needs of the market, but the detailed list valuation mode in the field of engineering cost is more and more high status. This article first elaborates the project cost that the development situation at home and abroad, and compares engineering cost model between its management for domestic and foreign, puts forward cost of project problems in our country and suggestions for improving. To develop the engineering quantity list, is based on the code of valuation with bill quantity of construction works ( GB50500- 2008), combined with the Sheng Yuan Garden 4# building engineering and the angel of the person of invite public bidding. With the angle of the engineering quantity list quotation preparation, according to the quotation of the complied list carries out analysis and comparative analysis.
