In the United States and Europe, small two-stroke gasoline engine has entered the common people as the family garden machinery, so it has a huge consumer market. This design is a gasoline engine with inverted single cylinder, two stroke, forced air-cooled, back ventilation, no float carburetor, started by the hand for YN30-type internal combustion rock drill machine. First, the article describes the two-stroke gasoline engine application and development trends, and compares with four-stroke engines in terms of performance. Also it briefly introduces the composition and the working principle of YN30 internal combustion rock drill. Second, the gasoline engine is designed in general.
