According to the requirements of automatically detecting the resistance of conducting plates and the insulation strength between them, The design of Pneumatic Transmission system and Stepping Motor Drive Control Circuits for the Bus duct Parameter Detection machine are introduced in this thesis. In addition, the design of Step Motor Drive Control Circuits is introduced. The Pneumatic Transmission setup has six actions which need to be controlled by Pneumatic Transmission. Eight Cylinders are needed. Two of them are used for controlling the flex of the detection. Two are used for controlling transverse orientation of the detection .Two are used for controlling orientation in length of the Bus duct. Another two are used for controlling the up and down of the Bus duct（preparing for packing it）. Then the thesis comes down to designing drawings of the loops in Pneumatic Transmission system ,and the size of Cylinders and device relationally are calculated in this thesis, with that devices of Cylinders control system are chosen. In addition, each parameter of the medium-sized Cylinder with sole piston are calculated, and it’s drawing of structure is designed. When designing the step motor drive circuit of 5 phase 10 pat，89C2051 is adopted as the Loop allotter. The VMOS is adopted in power elements. It is designed as chopper-type constant current circuit. In the thesis the related knowledge and basic principle of the step motor drive are probably introduced , and a principle of a scheme is introduced in detail, which is of the chopper-type constant current subdivid
