The se two phenom ena often coexist and create a viciou s circle of negative effects. Among cardiac arrhythm ia s comp licating w ith CHF, ventricu lar tachyarrhythm ia (V TA ) is the mo st common and mo st dangerou s. M alignan t V TA s are life threaten ing, and the comp lex p rem atu re ven tricu lar beats and nonsu stained ventricu lar tachycardia have a h igh incidence of sudden cardiac death under the background of CHF. Sp ecial attention m u st be p aid to the treatm en t of V TA , in addition to the m edication of both CHF and the cardiova scu lar disea se itself. Th is article dealsw ith cu rrent know ledge and developm en ts concern ing m anagem ent of V TA s related to CHF.
