The main aim is to prove the uniqueness and existence of a generalized solution. The proofs are based on a priori estimate and the Galerkin procedure, respectively. These nonlocal conditions arise mainly when the data on the boundary cannot be measured directly. The first paper, devoted to second-order partial differ- ential equations with nonlocal integral conditions goes back to Cannon [3]. Cannon studied a problem for a heat equation, and in most papers, devoted to nonlocal problems, parabolic and elliptic equations were studied. Mixed problems with nonlocal integral conditions for one-dimensional hyperbolic and wave equations were considered in [2, 7, 10, 11, 12]. Nonlocal problems for a third-order one-dimensional nonlinear pseudoparabolic equation were considered in [5, 6].
