The staged damage evolution of underground stope is emphatically numerically studied in the construction process with supporting structure and without supporting structure; and the deformation field of underground stope is also numerically calculated on the supposing that rock as an elastic material. The numerical test reproduces the staged damage evolution of underground stope in the construction process; and it provides a means to optimize the design and construction process of underground stope, to effectively prevent and control some engineering accidents such as collapse.
