The effects of tmi e, pH, amount of adsor ent and other factorsw ere investigated, ased on the adsor ent effect of the treatment of oilw astewater. It is indicated that under the optmi um expermi ental cond ition ( tmi e 90 m in, pH = 70, adsor ent dosage 1 g/ 100 mL), the removal rate of COD, oi,l ammon ia n itrogen and volatile phenol may separately reach 8679% , 9233% , 7864% , 8705% . The pollutant adsorption conforms to the Freundlich or the Langmu ir adsorption isotherm.
