A fter that, fu rther developm ent is tak ing p lace by adop ting fuzzy logic ba sed traffic signal con tro l for twoway single in tersection w ithout turn ing veh icles, single intersection w ith all po ssib le movem ents, mu ltip le intersection s, p ha se sequence and tim e determ ina tion, conge sted in tersection and network, etc. R esearch in fuzzy logic based traffic signal contro l is getting in sp ired by the re su lts wh ich indicate better p erform ance comp ared to traditional traffic signal contro ls, sp e cifically during heavy and uneven traffic volum e condition s.
