Then I read a Chinese translation of Gone with the Wind, and I became more and more obsessed for her, and her charm had a strong appeal to me. Finally by the thesis topics which our teacher gave us, I chose my thesis topic— Discussing Scarlet’s firm, stubborn and selfless in the book of Gone with the Wind.
