一、名词性从句 名词性从句即指从句相当于名词用，包括主语、宾语、表语及同位语从句，由连词引出。 1. that 引出一个陈述句，that在从句中无意义，也无成份，引导宾语从句时可省略。 2. if“是否”只引导宾语从句，不能省，所引导的从句还原是一般疑问句。Whether…or not “是否”，引导各名词性从句，不能省，引导宾语从句时与if可互换，但与or not连用时不能用if。 3. who, whom, whose, what, which when, where, why, how都有疑问词本来的意义，在从句中有成份也有意义，不能省略，从句还原都是特殊疑问句。 4. whatever, whichever, whoever, whomever, whosever等，也可引导名词性从句，不能省，在从句中有成份，也有意义，与不加ever的连词用法一样，但语气较强，可拆开成“先行词+定语从句”句式 二、名词性从句练习 1.—We havent heard from Jane for a long time.—What do you suppose _______to her??
