高三学生面临着填报大学志愿的问题， 假设有两种选择摆在你面前：一种是学术性、理论性较强的专业，如物理、中文等； 另一种是实用性较强的专业，如各类管理专业、计算机专业。你打算选择哪一种？理由是什么？ As the college entrance examination is drawing near/ approaching, we Senior three students all have an important decision/ choice to make. The majors in the university mainly fall into two categories. One is more theoretical while the other is more practical. As for me, I prefer the latter. I favour those more practical majors over the more academic ones. The reasons are as follows. Generally speaking, there are two sorts of majors to choose from, theoretical ones such as physics and maths and practical ones such as computer science and management. I prefer the latter. What to learn in the university seems to be an important decision for us senior three students to make. We have the chance to learn something academic, physics, for instance, or something practical like management or computer science. For me , I will probably choose the latter for the reasons below. We students of Grade 3 in high school are faced with the problem of what to major in during our university life. Some of us will choose to learn something academic while the others are considering to learn something that may be more practical and useful in the future. Firstly I think only a few people with real talent and great patience can make some achievement in the more theoretical fields. And I know I’m not that kind of person. Secondly when it comes to getting a job after graduation, a practical major gains advantage over a theoretical one. Firstly these practical subjects may be easier to learn, they are not so abstract. And because they are more closely related to our everyday life, they may also be more interesting. Besides my personalities make the practical majors the better choice. I tend to get excited easily and I’m not the kind of person who can not sit for hours doing research work. Compared with theoretical ones, practical majors appeal more to me.
