Time allotment: 1st session (2 periods) 2nd session (2 periods) 3rd session (2 periods) 4th session (2 periods) Warm-up Activities Reading for the Main Idea of Text A New Words Detailed Study of Text A Text Analysis Exercises of Text A Paragraph Writing Reading Skill Text B Summary of Unit One Listening and Speaking III. Teaching aids A tape recorder, some designed questions, supplementary material for writing, proverbs IV. Evaluation/ Assessment: Students will be assessed based on participation in class activities such as: warm-up activities, class/group discussion, performances in exercises, and thoughtful completion of the written assignment with the skill how to develop a paragraph as well.
