Because the fingerprint recognition systems processing speed, the computer technologys swift development, the low end fingerprint gathers meters appearance as well as redundant reliable algorithm realization, the automatic fingerprint acquisition technology more and more enter to peoples life and work domain. As one ideal status authentication technology, the fingerprint recognition system has the very widespread application prospect, will be the mainstream of the biological features recognition technology in future. This paper has introduced the principle of the fingerprint gathering, narrated emphatically the fingerprint gathering systems software and hardware development based on ARM615. The performance history is as follows: uses the FPS200 fingerprint gathering module to gather fingerprint, carries on the data transmission through the ARM615 development boards serial port, finally demonstrates gathered fingerprint information in the superior machine VB contact surface. The demonstration contact surfaces content including the transmited fingerprint data from the ARM615, fingerprint image converted by the fingerprint data as well as the users basic information and so on.
