Outline of the text: Part one: ( from line 1 to 31 ) Why we shy persons need to write a letter now and then.  A letter is a better way to avoid drying up and blowing away than telephone.  A letter is a sweet gift  A letter can help us to be known by another person and express the music of our souls Part two: ( from line 32 to104 ) Why and how to write a personal letter.  We should get over the guilt of not writing because letters are a gift. Few letters are necessary if you want to keep your friends. They are thanks for the wonderful gift and you are terribly sorry to hear about someone’s death and you welcome your friends to stay with you next month. Don’t worry about the others except love letters.  Keep your writing stuff in one place where you can sit down for a few minutes and dash off a note to a pal.  Start to write when the pen is hot.  Write the salutation and then tell your news freely.  Write Yours ever or Hugs and Kisses at the end of the letter.  Many years later, your letter will be read by your grandkids as an object of art.
