Yang, Ugen Cheng 76 2009/05 Tunghai University Music Fine Art Department 1 200600 Building This is an initial phase of a construction of the art campus; the campus is consisted of the faculty of arts, the faculty of music, a museum, 2 auditoriums 4 of capacity of 1200 and 600 apiece. Strategically, we consolidate a variety of programs into a single architecture, and the spatial organization is developed from the concept of boxes within a box to a mat building with an ecological shell. The interior circulation within this mat building that is under 4 stories tall is an extension of the exterior environmental loop system. Circulations of various directions and velocity connect spaces that are non-hierarchical spatially, generating a 3 dimensional system of loop.
