Tech. of China, Hefei 230026, China) Abstract: Inter ersonal communication is the communication between ersons on creation and relation of meaning . It func tions and changes according to the communicational relationwhich is tightly relatedwith the communication between ersons. The relational assum tion is ubiquitous in traditional Chinese culture. It is the theory of relation based on the core of assum tion in common sense that decsides the hidden inter ersonal communication of information in ancient China aswell as modern Chinese soc ity . Therefore, only by studying the relational assum tion of the order of inter ersonal communication in ancient China, can the meaning of traditional Chinese thought, such as Ren , Li , Zhong and Shu , The most harmonious is the best , in the ro cess of inter ersonal communication be inter reted.
